This week at work, I was given a task to improve my typography-work. I would make 6 smart and “minimalistic” movie posters. I could chose the movies myself, and I would put the focus on my illustrations, the typography and try to capture the essence of the movie in them. I really liked this task, since I could do what I love - illustrations, and what I need to practice on - typography.
There are two versions of the Amélie-poster. The one with the heart is my favorite, but the guys at work preferred the other one, so I decided to post them both.
For those of you who haven’t seen “Oldboy”, I would highly recommend to take a look at this fight-scene. If I should ever use the word “epic”, it would be to describe this scene.
